Sheltering Arms closes opportunity gaps stemming from systemic racism by transforming the lives of children and their families through high-quality, equitable early childhood education and leadership in the field.

For nearly 135 years, Sheltering Arms has offered high-quality early childhood education and family support services to break generational cycles of poverty so families can thrive. In 2021, Sheltering Arms achieved the following results:
● At least 90% of children will meet or exceed developmental milestones, including language, literacy, math, social-emotional, and physical;
● At least 80% of parents will report that their home and work life were more stable and balanced because they had quality care for their children.
● Investment in early education offers a 7 – 13% Return on Investment on your donation. This means for every dollar donated to support quality early learning returns $13 to the community.
