WORLD CHILD CANCER UK

Mission Statement

Our Vision is a world where every child with cancer, wherever they live, has timely access to the highest quality treatment, care and support to allow them to survive and thrive.

Our Mission is to improve survival rates, care and quality of life for children with cancer and their families in low and middle-income countries. We will do this through evidence-led programmes, impactful collaborations, and influencing policy change.

Why Donate to WORLD CHILD CANCER UK?

Every year, 400,000 children develop cancer, but only half are diagnosed. In low- and middle-income countries, survival rates are as low as 20%, compared to 80% in high-income countries like the UK and the US. Through programmes, collaborations, and policy advocacy, we work to improve survival rates and care quality. As a partner of the WHO Global Initiative, we aim to achieve a 60% survival rate by 2030.

When you donate you are recognising that the solution exists. You are helping close the cancer care gap and making sure that every child gets the diagnosis, treatment and care they need.
