Mission Statement
Center for New Data is a nonpartisan organization dedicated to unlocking the power of novel data for social impact. We believe that we have a moral obligation to make novel data more accessible, but that power needs to be redistributed beyond large tech companies and financial firms. Our founding team works alongside a large technical volunteer corps to build bold equity-focused social impact projects that improve our democracy.
Why Donate to Center for New Data?
As voting rights are under assault in the United States, Center for New Data’s Observing Democracy program is filling the data gap by applying big data analytics to understand exactly where the voter suppression problem is, and which specific communities are bearing the heaviest burden. Donated crypto funds will sponsor trillions of rows of data processing and interactive dashboard access to the nation’s leading nonpartisan voter protection groups for the 2022 midterm elections.
